Riverbend Nursery Volume Discount Program – New in 2009
"How you can Buy More and Pay Less in 2009"
The 5% discount will be granted to start off 2009 for customers who exceeded sales of $5,000 in the calendar year 2008. Customers with sales not exceeding $5,000 in 2008 will receive the 5% discount on sales once they achieve $5,000 in 2009.
Below is the 2009 Volume Discount Program with Purchase Levels and Corresponding Discount Levels.

$90,001 and up* 10%
Discounts apply on all plant material purchased at regular catalog price only. Discounts do not apply to Gilbertie's Herbs, Caladiums, Specials, net items, packing, freight, etc., but do apply towards overall volume discount schedule.
Increases in discount levels will be reviewed and initiated at the beginning of each month by your sales representative. Once a discount level is reached, it will remain in effect in future years assuming sales levels are maintained.
An example of your potential savings:
• Sales in 2008 were $11,900 – therefore you start 2009 with a 5% initial discount.
• At the end of April, your sales YTD are $10,050 – you are changed to a 6% discount.
• In June your YTD sales pass $30,000 – now you are changed to a 7% discount.
• September end your YTD sales exceed $50,000 – Increased to a 8% discount and minimum delivery charges will be
At year end discount levels will be reviewed and evaluated for the coming year. For those accounts that did not meet the required sales to continue at their current level, their discount may be adjusted to reflect the previous year's sales.
All accounts with established credit must be paid within terms in order to receive these discounts. Discounts may be changed back and withdrawn if an account is not paid within terms.
*Minimum delivery charges will be waived and freight as a % will be charged on all accounts when they meet $50,000 in sales or greater. Customers with sales of more than $50,000 in 2008 will have no minimum order or minimum delivery charges and only be charged freight as a % in 2009.
