Well-branched plants produce masses of small yellow-orange flowers with a black eye. These native mini black-eyed susans naturalize well and tolerate some shade. Although biennial, plants easily reseed themselves and often flower in the first year.

Big, bold and colorful describe this group of summer and fall flowering plants. The flowers bear a brownish central cone surrounded by petals of golden-orange and deep yellow. Very drought tolerant. Use in borders and wildflower gardens.
