Stachys (stay'-kis)

Family: Lamiaceae · Common Name: Lamb's Ear

The beautiful wooly, silver-gray foliage resembles a lamb's ear. Erect flower spikes bloom in summer and may be dried for crafts or removed to maintain uniformity as a ground cover. Wonderful when used for contrast in the border.
