Ruffled, curly leaves are among the darkest of all heuchera varieties. Purple, almost black, leaves reveal burgundy-red undersides, giving the plant an overall crimson color. Sprays of tiny white flowers bloom in late spring and make excellent cut flowers.

Height:

15-24 Inches

Bloom Color:

White.

Heuchera (hew-ker'-a)

Family: Saxifragaceae · Common Name: Coral Bells, Alum-Root

A wide array of leaf forms are available in colors which include green, pink, red, purple, bronze and silver. Ruffled, wavy leaves form neat clumps in the garden. Spikes of delicate bell-shaped flowers attract hummingbirds.
