Golden Star

A wonderful groundcover for moist, shady sites that is Native to the Eastern United States. A low spreading mound of dark green leaves gives way to bright yellow, star-shaped flowers in late spring and summer. Good companions for this plant are other shade lovers such as Ferns and Hostas. Chrysogonum can be evergreen in areas that experience very mild winters.
